Character List

Henry Fleming- Main character, young man fighting for the union in the civil war.
Jim Conklin- Man that Henry sees die that is from his regiment.
Wilson- Henry's good friend that is one of the other best fighters along with Henry.
tattered soldier- Acts as Henry's conscience after he ran from the first battle.
Lieutenant- Leader of Henry's brigade. Not very nice to them while they are fighting.
Henry's Mother- Was the voice of reason when Henry wanted to go to war. Tells him that he needs to stay true to himself and stay away from the bad people.
