Nick-Main Character & narrator in the story and lived next to Gatsby. He was a cousin of Daisy and was the main character in the story and looked at it from his point of view.
Gatsby-Started life as James Gatz. very rich man that lived next door to Nick. He was in love with Daisy and threw parties so he could see her. Gets shot at the end of the story by George Wilson by his pool.
Tom- Husband of Daisy and had an affair with Mrytle. Was a famous football player when he was younger which makes him restless.
Daisy- Tom's wife, was in love with Gatsby before she got married. She always seemed perfect and made her life look very perfect even though it really wasnt. She turns very cinical when she finds out about Myrtle and that her husband is cheating.
Jordan Baker- Liked Nick and was with him at times throughout the book. Was a good golfer but was known for cheating a lot. Was going out with Nick but then she said she was already engaged at the end of the book.
Myrtle- Tom's girlfriend. Gets run over by Daisy and was killed. Liked the rich life and thats why she loved being with Tom so much
